书法是汉字书写的艺术，汉字是中华文化的精髓。中华文化本一脉相通，书法作为一门艺术，包涵了中国哲学、中国美学等核心文化内涵。对于非汉语环境（尤其是欧美环境）下长大的汉语学习者而言，汉字虽然是汉语学习中非常困难的一个部分，但是如果能让孩子从小接触汉字，了解书法这门艺术，却无疑会直接影响到他们的一生，因为学习书法本身就是陶冶情操、培养耐力、提高文化修养的过程，孩子在学习书法的过程中更会深入了解到中国历史、中国文学、国画艺术等相关文化背景。可以这样说，书法不仅仅对孩子中文学习大有裨益，更会对中华文化的传承起到潜移默化的作用。

Calligraphy is the art of writing Chinese characters; Chinese characters are the essence of Chinese culture. All Chinese culture is intimately tied up, and calligraphy as an art, contains the Chinese philosophy, Chinese aesthetics and other core cultural connotation.

 

For Chinese learners who grew up under the non-Chinese environment (especially in the European and American environment), although Chinese characters are a very difficult part of Chinese learning, it directly affect students’ life if you let children learn Chinese characters and learn Chinese calligraphy because the study of calligraphy itself is a process of cultivation of sentiment , development of endurance, and improvement of cultural accomplishment , and students will be more in-depth understanding of Chinese history, Chinese literature, Chinese painting and other related culture in the process of learning calligraphy .
It can be said that the calligraphy is not only beneficial to Chinese learning, but also plays a subtle role on the transmission of Chinese culture.
